Skill Development Training For Visually Impaired Person

EXCLUSIVE TRAINING FOR THE BLIND BY A BLIND PROFESSIONAL

This program aims at empowering Blind people to live financially independent lives through our Skill Development Training. Unique aspect of this training is, these blind people are trained by a Blind Professional who is an expert in his field. It was not an ordinary training, these people were given training to make electrical and electronic products such as LED String bulbs, Solar Panels, Torches and more. It was an exclusive 15 days training dedicated to teach and train 35 blind people to empower them to make a living on their own with confidence.

TRAINER - TO INSPIRE & MOTIVATE

Mr. Sagar Patil is an BE Electronic Engineer who holds patents for Twenty electronic products and also 100% Blind. Sagar is an enthusiast who has the passion to motivate fellow visually impaired people and he trains them to make electronic products on their own. He makes visual disability an ability to make and sell products.

This program was inaugurated by Mr. John Alex, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Equitas Holdings Limited, exhibition was held on culmination of program.

EXHIBITION

Exhibition platform was provided for the budding blind entrepreneurs. Equiats Employees, Rotary Club Members and Schools of Pune showed a great support to them and made this exhibition a success and motivated our blind entrepreneurs.

Equitas Gyan Kendra initiative doesn’t only provide Skill Development Trainings, we go beyond that and provide guidance and support to our trainees to gain confidence and generate income.
